Item v5258 ... Price: $190 SOLD A wonderful 1950's cocktail dress in black taffeta. Gathered, fitted bodice with shelf bust and thin velvet straps. Dress has a full, embroidered, pleated skirt with an attached crinoline (shown here with an additional crinoline... not included). Rear metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Approximately 41 3/4" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Part of the pellon skirt backing has been cut away. 3-4 tiny white pin dots. A few tiny holes on the rear top edge of the bodice next to the zipper (as if there might once have been a bow or something similar there). A few pulled embroidery threads.
