Item v5621 ... Price: $455 SOLD A positively extraordinary early 1950's wedding gown originally purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue. Short sleeved bodice with an ivory silk taffeta band and two colors of tiny faux pearls. Closes down the back with 31 covered buttons (because of the buttons, you will need assistance to put this dress on). Body of the dress is lined in acetate, but the yoke is lined in silk organdy, making it slightly sheer. "Saks Fifth Avenue," label. Although we do not have the original preservation box, we do have the original documentation from Saks Fifth Avenue for the preservation (a receipt and a warranty)... this will be included. We also have and will include the orignal veil and headpiece (though some beads are loose on the headpiece). Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33" bust, 23" waist, free hips. Approximately 62" from shoulder to hem (72" to tip of train). There is a little seam allowance if you need to let out a bit. Condition: In good condition. Very nicely preserved. The finish on a few of the cream colored tiny faux pearls has worn off and left a faint tea colored mark under the pearls.
