Item v5728 ... Price: $180 A great 1950's cocktail dress in black and white gingham taffeta and ivory tulle. Fitted strapless bodice with ruffled tulle bust inset. Bodice is gapping in the photos towards the left side simply because the the dress does not zip on the form. Dress has a full skirt of ivory tulle appliqued with bands of gingham taffeta (shown here with a crinoline that is not included and appears to be sticking out a bit in the photos). Lined. Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 30" bust, 21" waist, free hips. Approximately 35 1/2" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. I think someone tried to wash this dress and the tulle is a little soft/limp. There are some spots on the lining that do not show through. Hint of yellow at the underarms. One of the taffeta bands on the left side of the skirt has been repaired but I don't think you'll see it.
