Painted Black Taffeta 1950's Cocktail Dress w/ Chiffon Overlay Item v5730 ... Price: $129 A wonderful 1950's cocktail dress in black taffeta painted with gold polka dots and overlaid with black chiffon. Sleeveless bodice with sheer marquisette backed yoke. Dress has a semi-full, pleated skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included and sticking out a bit in the photos). Rear metal zipper. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 35" bust, 30" waist, free hips. Approximately 39" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good, wearable condition. A few tiny white surface dust spots. Scattered pin holes in the skirt. On the bodice there are a few small holes in the marquisette underlining which are visible (you should be able to see them in the photos). Has a bit of a musty odor (has not been cleaned). Underarm marking. A dime sized hole on one of the front pleats on the skirt (visible).         Click on above images to enlarge.
