Late 1930's Black Chiffon Evening Gown w/ Lace Trim Item v5809 ... Price: $190 SOLD A terriic late 1930's/early 1940's evening dress in black chiffon. Puffed lace sleeves and yoke inset. Lace trimmed pockets. Back of the bodice is slit with a single hook/eye at top. Side metal zipper. Matching black bias slip with thin beige chiffon straps. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 34" bust, 25" waist, free hips. Approximately 55" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. A few scattered white dust speckles. A pulled stitch at the base of the rear neck slit. String belt loops but no belt. I think the slip straps are too short (the slip seems about an inch too high in the front for me) and one of them is only pinned ot the dress. Though it is not 100% neccessary, I would advise changing over the slip straps.         Click on above images to enlarge.
